CHHS Senior Post High School Tour

On Tuesday, October 22nd all Utah colleges and universities will be at Copper Hills to talk to seniors about the benefits of attending college.  Students will be able to select three schools to listen to half-hour information sessions.  This event takes place during regular school hours (8-10:40 am).  We encourage students to be prepared with their top three school choices prior to that morning.  Students attending JATC/CTEC in the morning only may wish to be excused from class to attend, please talk to your instructor for prior approval. 

Contest for First Home Football Game

We are going to have a contest relating to our Friday Football game (8/23) for all you Copper Hills Fans.   We would like to know what you all think the half time score will be this Friday at the game against Davis.  All answers need to be posted on our FB page under this post.  Please keep your comments positive.  This contest will close on Friday at 6 p.m., one hour before the game.  Winners will receive some fabulous CHHS swag and will be announced at half time.  You MUST be present to win.  Go Grizz!

Football Family Season Passes Available

August 23rd, the first Copper Hills Football home game, will be here before we know it!  This year we will be offering Season Family Passes for $125.00, a savings of $25.  The pass is good f0r 6 immediate family members and can be used for the home games.   Passes can be purchased in the main office.  We’ll see you at the game, and thanks for supporting our football program.

Tennis Tryouts August 5th-9th

Copper Hills tennis tryouts will be held at the CH tennis courts on Aug. 5th-9th from 3-5 p.m.  Bring your tennis racquet and come prepared to show your skills.

Volleyball Camp at CHHS July 29th – Aug 1st.

A Grizzly Volleyball Camp is being offered at Copper Hills starting July 29th and going through August 1st from 1-4 p.m.  Registration forms can be found on the Salt Lake County Rec Website or on the CHHS Volleyball Blog. chvolleyball.blogspot.com

Colin Rich Places 1st in State PTA Art Contest

Copper Hills Sophomore Colin Rich placed 1st in the State PTA Art Contest “Reflections”.  He was one of three first place winners asked to speak about his art to the State Convention Delegates and all the Utah District Superintendents.  Congratulations Colin!

Softball Team Racked Up 15 Runs on 20 Hits at Yesterday’s Game

If you missed the softball game yesterday, Payten Davies pitched a shutout and Emilee Sweet went 5 for 5 at the plate. The team racked up 15 runs on 20 hits (see the Trib article in this morning’s paper http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/sports/56352753-77/bingham-copper-hills-game.html.csp) way to go Softball!!! Kudos to head coach Jentry Johnson, and the coaching staff, DarbyCowles, Chelsie McWhorter, Rick Johnson, Lacee Steele, Amy Brown and Scott Wightman.

Copper Hills Leads in FAFSA Completion

Some exciting news!  The FAFSA numbers were checked again today (which you can do at this site)and the Copper Hills FAFSA completion rate has now reached 206, making it the ONLY school in the whole state to pass the 200 mark. Congratulations!!
