MVC Traffic Control for Copper Hills

Beginning now and through the summer there will be significant construction on New Bingham Highway on the north side of the school.

When the construction is finished, the direction of northwest parking entrance and the westerly direction of New Bingham will change shape.

By the beginning of the next school year, the north middle entrance to the school and visitor parking will no longer exist.
The north-west and the north-east entrance will remain open.

During construction (from now until the construction is finished during the next school year) encourage students to enter student parking on the east side of the school from Grizzly Way.  This is safer than entering student parking from the north side.

We want an accident free construction period.

The south road behind the school will have new painted curbs for next year and there will be additional student parking spaces added to the north-east student parking lot and the west parking lot.

Do not park in the child care drop-off zone.  Parking will continue to be enforced for red zone parking.  There should be no red zone parking at any time for any vehicle(s) except emergency vehicles.  Remember to secure your vehicle and belongings.

Senior Dinner Dance Parking Info

Seniors!!!!

The Senior Dinner Dance is in the Rice-Eccles Tower attached to the U of U football stadium.  Parking is free.  However, the West Jordan TRAX line is the U of U line.  Getting on TRAX in West Jordan will take you to the U of U.  The stadium TRAX stop is in the parking lot where you would park if you had driven there.  You simply need to walk across the lot to the towers.  Please consider riding TRAX rather than driving on the freeways and in downtown traffic.  The dance ends at eleven and you can simply ride back to West Jordan on TRAX rather than worrying about getting through SLC at night.
