LDS Business College Offers Free Courses
Posted in Counseling, Extra Curricular, General Information on May 17, 2012
LDS Business College is excited to announce a unique opportunity for a select number of your students who will graduate in the next few weeks. To benefit your graduating seniors, we’ve created a shortened 8-week package that begins Monday, June 11th. The best part is they can take these three courses for free!
Our summer semester is already under way for 2012. However, we want to provide the opportunity for soon-to-graduate high school seniors, especially those who may not be considering a college education, to experience a few introductory courses. Here are the details:
The three “packaged” courses offered are:
o COM 122 – Interpersonal Communications (2 credit hours)
o IT 101/102 – Computer Literacy/Applications (3 credit hours)
o LE 115 – Foundations of Learning (1 credit hour)
These courses are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:15 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Students enrolled in these packaged courses will not be charged tuition, but will be required to purchase the books associated with these courses.
- Students must also attend Fall Semester 2012.
- Financial aid will not be available for this special package, since there are no tuition costs.
- Applicants must apply for admission through besmart.com, and meet admission requirements.
- The admission deadline is Friday, June 8th.
If you have questions about this unique offer, please call Kimberly Peralta, recruitment counselor, at 801-524-8148, or the Admissions Office at 801-524-8145.
